The host of the radio Charlamagne said the Lord spoke to the rep. Eric Swalwell, D-Calif., Tuesday, asking how Democrats can expect Americans to trust them again after covering President Joe Biden’s controversial health.
Nearly a year after the then President Biden gave up the appointment of the Democratic Party, the coverage of his supposed fall continues to be a national controversy.
When Swalwell argued that many figures in politics are acting as collaborators for President Donald Trump, Charlamagne responded that he should take a look at his party.
“But isn’t it all, though?” the host asked.
“I don’t think so. Hope no,” Swalwell replied.
“I just finished reading” Original Sin “,” Charlamagne noted, referring to the new book by Jake Tapper by CNN and Alex’s Axio describing the mental decline of the president and coverage.
“So when I hear you speak, I’m like, well, what was the justification of the Democrats when they chose to be collaborators in the physical and mental fall of Biden? It is the same.
“I don’t think many of us were behind the scenes, to be honest,” Swalwell said. “I didn’t spend much time with President Biden behind the scenes.”
Charlamagne stated that it spent zero time with Biden whatever, but still saw that there were issues.
“You have two of your eyes. I got it. I got it,” Swalwell replied, continuing to argue that there is a fundamental difference between the way Biden and Trump acted in office.
Later, Swalwell argued that Democrats must be the party of the future, “because the past was rejected last November.”
Charlamagne offered a prickly response.
“Why should we ever trust the Democratic Party after lying to us [for] So long for President Biden? “The host asked.
“Yes, well, there are many people who are brave now in the Democratic Party. Our bread and butter ishing, ‘dance with what YA brought is health care,” Congressman replied. “People have always trusted us in health care.”
Later in the discussion, Charlamagne recalled a crucial moment in the 2024 elections when the then president of Zra Kamala Harris refused to be differentiated from Biden during a “View” appearance.
“Vice President Kamala Harris, the reason she did it in ‘The View’ is because no one wanted to piss Biden,” Charlamagne said. “Biden wanted his heritage to be intact. You can read the ‘original sin’ and see that he cares more about his heritage and his ego and how Biden’s name is perceived than everything. “
The host continued, “He put himself on the holiday and the future of America, so she did not want to break away from this. I bet you had orders set for marches: ‘Do not break away from the bid, do not make his legacy look crazy.” “
